"New Fleet, Industry-Best Turnaround Time"

Throuugh weekly review meetings, airline operational executives at a regional carrier would gather to review fares and to analyze information such as the markets they served, weekend rates, roundtrips, one-ways, specials, and a host of other data. Unfortunately, so much time was spent attempting to gather information that very little actual analysis and strategic work took place.

By implementing an Enterprise Performance Management system, executives were able to view all kinds of data on markets, routes, pricing and promotion. The cognitive abilities of the Bitam solution allowed executives to go one step further. They realized that if they altered their fleet to use more regional jets, they could reach underserved markets and dramatically change their financial assumptions. The management system also empowered ground crews to realize faster turnaround times which aided overall profitability. Today, the regional carrier has proven to be highly competitive and has surpassed its international rivals.
